Soft Cannibalism | Solo presentation at Test Kitchen, Helsinki
Reliefs, text and music performance
An evening of edible relief sculptures, music performance and text. The chocolate reliefs contain pasteurised human milk from donors, proposing a form of dairy consumption rich in historical, symbolic, and political meaning.
Mouths that once suckled milk now sing and send breath through instruments.
Works included:
New Farmer, edible bas-relief, edition of 7
Sugar, cocoa butter, almond flour, sunflower lecithin, natural vanilla extract, human milk from four donors. Paired with Graham's Six Grapes Reserve Ruby Port (20.0%) from Douro, Portugal, not far from the Côa Valley where wild cattle live.
